No more face masks for South Africans
South Africans do not have to wear face masks indoors anymore.
Limitations on gatherings, which have been in place since the start of the pandemic two years ago, have also been scrapped.
Testing for Covid-19 and vaccination requirements for visitors entering the country have been lifted.
Health Minister Joe Phaahla gazetted the changes on Wednesday and they will go into effect immediately.
