Beneath the shallow and turbulent waters of the South African coastline swims a special marine mammal that is rarely seen. And soon, if nothing is done, they could disappear from our waters altogether.
The humpback dolphin is one of the ocean’s more mysterious animals. They shy away from humans, and are so elusive most people have never seen them.
The species is extremely endangered. Marine Dynamics together with Dyer Island Conservation and other researchers are working tirelessly to gather data to save them.
