It’s never too late to awaken the artist in you…

Women can be the best version of themselves at any age and Helen Searra is proof of this. At 50, Helen experienced an awakening through menopause and channeled this into art that inspired her.

She found a way to recreate herself outside the family realm and shifted her focus into creating masterpieces out of paper. All her artwork is made from meticulously tearing pieces of paper, then pasting them into the shape of the piece you see on display. An ingenious, and difficult, way to turn paper into a life form.

According to Helen: “Your experiences in life add to the depth of your artwork.”
