Kruger National Park’s best kept secret

It is the start of the rainy season, a time for rebirth for both fauna and flora. The dusty season passes and the first rains clear out the residue left behind. The rivers begin to trickle again and new life is breathed into dull grasslands. Migratory birds return causing a flurry in the park.

But the real reason to visit in November is the newborn animals that flood the park – impala lambs, baby warthogs, wildebeest, monkeys and baboons can be seen at every turn. It is a sight to behold.

Best of all, it is outside of peak season so you don’t have to fight the crowds. And now that the lion is out of the bag, don’t forget to start planning…
